Steve used the Cobra driver head with an Accuflex shaft to win the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship at Mesquite, NV, in October, 2005. Using a Cobra head with an Accuflex shaft he unleashed the winning blast, which allowed Cobra Golf, Accuflex -- and Griffith -- to jointly claim the title of "World's Longest Driver." Of course, Steve was hitting a Pinnacle ball off the tee. Pinnacle is the official ball of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships.
