Steve was recently featured in a Golf Tips Magazine article on how to hit it longer. Here he demonstrates the correct shoulder turn to bust it long and straight.

Steve Griffith a 2005 World Long Drive Champion
A quick and easy way to hit it long is to concentrate on your shoulder turn. On the back swing, your left shoulder should be under your chin, and on the downswing, your right shoulder should turn and take the place of where your left shoulder was at address. Make sense? The shoulders help to initiate the necessary rotation of the body and they're also easy to visualize when it comes to improving your swing. Remember, the golf swing is a turn, not a slide.

Hi, I'm Steve Griffith a RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion. Some of you may know me through my popular e-book Long And Straight and others from viewing my championship on ESPN.
I am endorsing the Speed Swing Radar (SSR) sensor devise. I am not being paid to endorse the SSR by the inventor, owners or manufacturers. I am recommending it because I actually used the SSR to help win the world long drive championship.
I used the SSR sensor to train and monitor my progress in hitting a golf ball longer and straighter. The SSR sensor is a new electronic devise that was only invented recently (2005). SSR was very instrumental in my training and winning the world long drive championship.
I recommend the SSR to any golfer that wants to improve his golf game and driving distance. Swing Speed Radar is a perfect fit to go along with my popular e-book "Long And Straight being sold around the world.
Please continue reading for more information on SSR and how it can improve your golf game.
Sincerely, Steve Griffith

The Swing Speed Radar is a small electronic gadget that is positioned near the golf ball (Steve demonstrates in the video clip below) and measures the club head speed of a golfer's swing. Golfers can determine their optimum swing speed for distance, control and accuracy.
SSR will also determine the golf club characteristics that achieve the best results for you.
Using Swing Speed Radar you can monitor the effects of changes in your mechanics on swing performance.
The Swing Speed Radar is only about the size of a clock radio (and a smaller one at that). It comes with a metal stand that allows the unit to be positioned near to the golf ball (see video clip) and facing the path of the golfer's swing. It runs on three AA batteries. This radar gun is not just a fun gadget, but a true training devise for golf instructional aid.
When a golfer swings, an LED display shows the speed of the clubhead as it passes in front of the Swing Speed Radar. The unit can be set to display the speed in miles per hour or kilometers per hour. The Swing Speed Radar can also be used by baseball/softball players to determine the optimum swing for your best distance, quickness, and bat control.
The unit automatically clears the previous reading with each swing and is ready for its next reading immediately. It will also shut off automatically if not used within a certain period of time.
Unlike most radar speed guns? Swing Speed Radar is completely safe. Powered by three AA-size batteries, the Swing Speed Radar transmission level is well within FCC requirements and prescribed safety levels. It is microprocessor-controlled, and indicates calculated miles-per-hour clubhead or bat speeds, ranging from 30 to over 200 miles-per-hour, on a large easy-to-read liquid crystal display. The affordable Swing Speed Radar is a valuable aid for players of all ages and skill levels, and is a powerful tool for coaches and instructors. And everyone enjoys using it!
Swing Speed Radar can be used in conjunction with long drive and golf swing training programs designed to improve a golfer's swing speed and, therefore, his distance. For example, a golfer working to improve his swing and distance can use the Swing Speed Radar to monitor progress.
Steve Griffith uses the Swing Speed Radar to measure his swing speed and progress in training for World Championship competition as shown in the video. The Swing Speed Radar comes with a guide and instructions.
With your SSR you will also receive Steve Griffith's ebook which explains how he used SSR to help win the world championship and also how you can make your own Swing Speeed Training device to improve your swing speed.
